First time here after following all the hype everywhere on social media.! I am glad to say that it lives up to it.! The rippers were really delicious of course with the special sauce. But the real highlight of my meal was the Rice pudding It was so tasty with perfect texture, melts in the mouth with a blast of flavor, It made my day..
What a great stop!! I was influenced by a short video on Instagram and was not disappointed. The value of the food here is phenomenal. Stopped here traveling South from New England and couldn’t be happier. The location is great for a quick stop with easy ample parking. Service was super friendly and very quick. Extensive menu options for every taste. I tried the ripper with chili and cheese and it was great! So good I got another one just to enjoy the home made relish.
The best dog I have ever had. Make sure to get a ripper with chili and cheese sauce, then add the yellow relish that is on the counter. The dog will be messy but great. Never had a dog so good.
If you’re ever craving a hot dog, this will 100% satisfy your craving. The relish is delicious & self serve so load it up! At 3 per dog how could it not be a fire spot?
Stopped by for lunch and grabbed 2 rippers with chili and cheese. I was told to try the homemade relish and the spicy brown mustard. The hot dogs are on point and would have been perfect with a beer but I was on the clock . The staff seemed to be friendly and told me they had been here for 97 years. Seems like the place has a good tradition of patrons.
The classic! Guys working there are a vibe. You can go for a quick Ripper on the take out side or sit down in the restaurant area. The ripper is a must! Try their sweet relish, they’ll insist. Mandatory to stop if you drive by, or a great pitstop on the way home after any game. The dipped burger is something you either love or hate but worth a try.
I just love the nostalgia of this place. Hot dogs are great, so are the prices. Tonight I tried something different, just to see hey maybe it’s good. I had the duck, wasn’t bad but I wouldn’t get it again. Dry in most of the parts and not a lot of meat, more bones than anything. Looked amazing though, the presentation was good. Came with a side of mashed potatoes that was delicious and definitely made in house. But next time I’m sticking to the hot dogs and onion rings.
Freaking Amazing hot dog! Tasty onion rings. I tried a chili dog and a dog with their in house relish. Both were amazing. The chili was just dense enough and just spicy enough. The relish was a perfect blend of sweet and mustard. Perfect. Not much to look at - but that is not why you go. Eat a Freaking Hot Dog!!
